Hi, I’m Simon Mole, and I’m a poet. I have 15 years experience using poetry and rap in education and community settings. I am currently the Digital Poet in Residence for National Literacy Trust, and I was recently made an official National Poetry Day Ambassador.
I run two live online poetry workshops a month, which are suitable for children aged 5-12. We usually start with a few fun (and quite silly) warm up games to build confidence and skills, before I guide the group through a prompt-based writing exercise set out in a similar approach to the tutorial videos I make for my channel.
